Colonia del Sacramento
"History
and Riverwalks"
 |
 |
This old XVII
century Portuguese City was declared Historical Patrimony
of Humanity by UNESCO, due to its very well conserved architectonic
buildings. It maintains its strong Colonial characteristic.
The city tour in Colonia is an incredible full day tour
along its stone paved streets, old buildings and museums
(Spanish and Portuguese) and beautiful riverwalks with the
most romantic sunsets.
During our City Tour in Colonia del Sacramento we also visit
the downtown, the Port area, Fernando Beach (where you will
have free time to enjoy the river sights), the Foresty Reserve
and the Colonia del Sacramento Fort (which stands out as
one of the most important Uruguayan tourist pillars and
a must-see for those interested in learning more about South
American history.)
Then, we will drive along the sotline to the "Plaza
de Toros Real de San Carlos" . An imposing bullfighting
ring that was opened to the public in 1910 and now stands
as a National Historical Monument.
City tour in Colonia is definitely an unforgettable journey
back in time
City tour in Colonia finishes at the Airport, Hotel or Buquebus
Port.
